Alright guys,

dave from laurel park, just to c if u guys fancy a game on the 11/18june???

if not do u know any sides looking for a game?

Hi Dave, we've already got a game on the 10th of June against the Harry Wraggs so the following day would be out but I'll check with the boys to see whether anything has been arranged for the following weekend.

If we've no game, there's no reason why we couldn't get something organised.

Will get back to you as soon as possible.

Dave, our tournament is on 24th June. I didn't ask you 'cos I know you said last year you wouldn't be able to make a Saturday. You're very welcome to come this year, if you can get a team together.

It's six a side, all the details are in the Midsummer Sixes thread, you should be able to see it.

Hi David, sorry The Gaffer couldn't explain there.

It's basically 16 teams in four groups playing across four parks on the 11's pitch at six-a-side's

It takes a Champions League style format with the top two teams in each group comepeting for the Trophy and the bottom two in each group breaking off to a Uefa Cup style Plate tournament.

It's £50 entry per team, bring a squad of upto ten players.

You're guaranteed at least 6 - 15 minute games and the chance to win a trophy.

It's partly for charity too with the CRP charity getting a donation. One of our players recently ran the London Marathon for the cause.

Just let us know if you need any more details.

Hi Dave, we'd probably only need one team from your guys. As I said though you can bring a squad of upto ten so most of the your boys would get a run out.

I spoke to the Keith on Saturday night and we're waiting on a couple of teams getting back to us that we've asked already which is why we can't take two from you just now.

If you can confirm one team, we can get back to the teams we're waiting on and put a bit of pressure on them for an answer.

but i am 99% sure could get a team no probs.

if u need us there we will be there basically,
get back to the other sides and if u need us just let me know

Yup, Keith has booked the park for the 18th. He'll be on here during his lunch break no doubt. He'll be able to give details of the time then.

The Mid Summer Sixes too Dave, we'll talk to you about it next weekend but we'll definately take one team off you guys and if we've not firmed up the other 15, we'll ask you to put two in.
