Champions League 2nd Round Draw...
Well, not an easy time of it for any of the British clubs or Celtic! :smt002

Could have been a lot worse for the gers!!
I would have taken that before the draw.
Celtic might struggle. Rangers could do with them missing out this year.
Just to level out the money a bit.
If the tic get through and we dont, i really dont like to think what would happen at ibrox!!!

Yup, I'll have none of the "support you own nations teams in Europe" nonsense from the press either thanks.
It does Rangers no favours for Celtic to be in the CL group stages.
They can have a wee run in the Uefa for all the difference it makes to the co-efficient but Rangers really need the fair share of the TV money.
Zeta also have the incentive that if the knock Rangers out, they'll set up a Serbia v Montenegro 3rd round tie should Red Star get through (which is looking likely.)
Nervy times ahead. [/quote]

How did Rangers get off so lightly? Surely Celtic had a higher seeding than them? Red Star Belgrade are no the force they were whent he beat Dundalk in the old European cup in 1994

Both Rangers and Celtic were seeded along with Liverpool and Arsenal plus Valencia etc.
There's not alot between the two teams in terms of seeding just now and if the two of them have an equal year this time Rangers will be seeded higher than Celtic at the start of next year with the Seville run coming off and Rangers losing their Viktoria Zizkov year.
Spartak Moscow aren't seeded the much higher than Red Star. Sparta Prague, Fener and AEK were the ones to avoid with Toulouse being a tough draw too although they have a lower ranking having not been in Europe so much recently.

Of course you have to fancy Liverpool but I wouldn't have fancied Tolouse at all. I reckon that would have been a very tough one for either side of the old firm

Cappo

Yeah, any draw apart from the bottom three was always gonna be tough.
Anyway, more to the point. ARE YOU PLAYING ON SUNDAY VINNY AND CAN MICAHEL MAKE IT?
|
Fionn Makool

Did you not get my PM?
Micheal cant make it, and I am extremely doubtful. Take me as a no unless you hear to the contrary
|
Cappo
|
Nope, PM never arrived.
Fair doos, we'll count you as a no just now then......

All due respect , but anyone thinking we'll get through this one is aff their fucken rocker.
We don't have the squad capable of testing Spartak Moscow.
We don't have the depth to compete at this level with them.
And Boruc will be injured.
A total bastard and the only way I can see us getting something is if we get the finger oot within 3 days and sign a centre half and a new striker.
And that won't happen.
If it does, I'll donate twenty quid to a charity of the Dynamo Commitee's choice.

Ok, You're on. £20 to the Rangers Supporters Trust Gers Save Scheme.
I'm sure Bob and I provide two of the three votes needed.

Aye Whitever.
We couldn't trouble Kilmarnock's goalie yesterday.
Can't wait to see us try to test this Moscow goalie now.
Honestly.
What a rant I've been on, that I have held in since Febuary 2006, against that wee bastard in charge of our team.
The Mad House will await me if I am wrong.

I'd be surprised if you's managed to get by this round too mate, though yesterday, I think it was just bad finishing from the strikers, on another day, you'd probably have gubbed them. I'd be more worried about how often Killie were able to carve good chances for themselves. Going forward, I don't think you's have much to worry about, but at the back, you's looked quite shakey.

Aye apart from the fact that Paul Hartley is in our midfield.
Apart from how we couldn't score in a roomful of my ex burds.
Apart from that useless fucking midden Zurawski being picked. Only lazy Pole in Scotland. And JVOH looks dreadfully gutted at having a new strike partner every week. And he's another chicken heart fuck.
Nakamura played oot on the right where he can't influence play like he does with Japan in International games.
Scott Brown being brought in as a central midfielder but bumped oot at right wing back at points it seems.
That man in charge of us is intent on bringing the Lou Macari Days back to Celtic Park.
I'll tell you whit.
I'm giving the cunt till August to sort it oot and if he dusnae I'll be doing the Car Park Loyal move.
I hate him man
