No denying that it definitley needs done up, it's falling to bits at the moment, and the facilities inside are very out of date..
I don't think it's THAT bad.. (the new design).. will end up looking alot like the Aztec one in Mexico City (I think.. not checked if that's actually the one I have in mind). Could have been better though. Will be interesting to see how they are going to do the actual construction of it, it's not like they can move to a temp stadium while it's being done or anything. |

It looks like a giant liquorice allsort.
I think it's the Allianz Arena in Munich you'll be thinking of Stan. It's similar. The colours come from Barca's strips and the local Catalan flag. It does need a tart up but I dunno if I like it at all. The achitect that's designing it has some CV right enough. I saw the list of buildings he's worked on and it's very impressive |
