Why is this allowed?Just read this from the evening times round up on football...
"Ciudad de Murcia have SOLD their place in La Liga 2 to non-league Granada 74 for £13m under new rules in Spain which allow clubs to sell their right to league places - much like US franchises."
How come that's allowed by fifa and uefa, who have their noses in just about every aspect of every league and clubs business, no matter how petty.. yet they allow something like this to happen??
Surely it flies in the face of what football is all about!!

As much as it's ridiculous, Airdrie effectively did the same thing with the bankies albeit in a much more roundabout manner.
What's the background to this story? I take it they were in financial difficulty.
